Have the time to 'tinker' with their puzzle settings.
Understand that this will NOT WORK on all computers.
AGAIN - if you do not have time to mess around with entering an image (which may not work) please don't try to do this.

Currently we have only received negative feedback about this feature, and it will probably be removed in the near future. I can only say that it works great on Vista using IE7.

Tested:

Internet Explorer 7 (Vista): YES
Firefox 2.0.0.12 (Vista): NO
Safari for Windows 3.0.4 (Vista): NO - Should work, but can't turn on background printing in Safari for Windows. Safari on MAC should work when you turn on background printing.

(Image/Printing Tips)

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "PRINT BACKGROUND IMAGES" set to ON
- Internet Explorer: On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. Under Settings, scroll down until you find the Printing category. Make sure Print background colors and images is checked, and then click OK.
- Safari on Mac: On the File menu, click Print. On the Copies & Pages pop-up menu, click Safari. Select Print Backgrounds. Click OK.
- Safari on Windows: We have been unable to determine how to allow printing of background images in this browser.
- Netscape: On the File menu, click Page Setup. On the Format & Options tab, under Options, select Print background (colors & images). Click OK.
- Firefox - This application does not work with Firefox. Firefox requires a change in it's internal configuration files to make our application work. We have decided not to support Firefox due to this.
Make the image the appropriate size (less than 750 x 950 pixels) BEFORE entering it above, and that it is a GIF, JPG (or JPEG), or PNG. TIFF files will not work on the web! We will not modify your image dimensions for you. Images that are too large may cause the application to not work at all.
Be sure to use the "Print Preview" option before printing. The page will not print the way it LOOK in your browser. This is different for every printer - so you will have to locate it.

We highly suggest that you only use images less than 750 x 950 pixels - this may require you to edit them PRIOR to using them here.

FAQ's and Troubleshooting

Can I make paragraphs?
- Yes, you can make paragraphs! Just use the space provided for the sentence and enter your entire paragraph.
Can I make a PDF and store this on my computer?
- Yes. This is an option on most computers in the "Print" box that pops up when you print the worksheet
- Find the box that allows you to 'choose your printer'.
- Simply change the 'printer' in that dialog box to "Adobe PDF" (or similar).
- Then choose "Print". You will be given new oprions on "where to save" your new PDF.
Can I put this worksheet on my website? Can I put this worksheet in my book? etc.
- No. Please read our Terms of Use
- In general, you are allowed to make copies for classroom or home use only, provided you do not remove the citation on the copies.
- Any other uses are forbidden without express written consent of The Teacher's Corner
