Activity One: My Favorite Winter Olympic Sport

In this activity, students have the opportunity to share which Winter Olympic sport is their favorite and to explain why they like this particular sport.

Depending on the age of your students, you may ask them to write one sentence or a full paragraph explaining why the sport they have chosen is their favorite.

Along with their writing, students will also need to include an illustration of their favorite sport.

Once students have created both their writing and illustration, their work is ready to be shared with the world. You may choose from a variety of upload options: web page, wiki, Voice Thread, SlideShare, and Smilebox. Directions will be provided for uploading.
