This project has been redone to be a stand-alone project in your classroom. Even though it's no longer a formal "TTC Collaboration" project, you can still reach out to other teachers for an element of collaboration.
Help your class get a new school year off to a great start while reliving some of the more memorable moments of summer vacation. All while reading the wonderful story by Mark Teague, How I Spent My Summer Vacation.
Book Synopsis: In "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" by Mark Teague, readers are introduced to Wallace Bleff, a young boy with an imaginative spirit and a knack for storytelling. Sharing his adventures with fellow classmates, Wallace reveals that he was detoured on the way to his Aunt’s house. He was busy roping and riding with the cowboys that had captured.
