Thematic Units - Make the DateMake the Date Here's something I do at calendar time to help with the study of money. The children have to write what coins they would use to make the date. I have a paper that has columns for quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. They fill in the columns. I start with manipulatives in Sept and work my way down to the sheet later on. |
