Chocolate Touch Grades 4-5
My students and I just finished reading the book the Chocolate Touch. The book is great and the kids really enjoyed reading it. We did a follow up lesson with Hershey's Kisses. We used the kisses to write descriptive paragraphs using the five senses. We wrote our stories on a paper shaped like a large Hershey's kiss. I hope you enjoy the book and the idea.

"Who Wants to be a Millionaire" Grades Any
When I was working with 5th grade students, we were studying the 13 colonies. Hershey, Pennsylvania has the largest chocolate factory in the world. I brought in a big bag of Hershey candy and we played "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" as a review for the test. If they got the question right, they got a piece of chocolate.
