Home Spa Bath Bombs

You will need:

- -Baking soda
- -Citric acid, available at any health food store
- -Essential oils, pick the scent you like (again, you can find this at health food stores)
- -Dried flowers from your garden (optional)
- -Witch hazel
- -Spritzer bottle for adding witch hazel
- -Plastic molds found at craft stores

Directions:

1. Mix the following dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl:
3 cups baking soda
1 cup citric acid

You might try 1 cup baking soda and 1/3 cup citric acid to make a small trial batch. Increase amounts to suit your needs; keep proportions at 3 to 1.

2. Add the essential oils or fragrance -- 40 drops for 4 cups of dry ingredients.

3. Add dried flowers.

4. Add the witch hazel to the dry ingredients using the spray bottle to spritz a little at a time. It doesn't take much. It will make the dry ingredients stick together. Try to pack the mixture into the mold and flip it over. If it falls apart, add more witch hazel.

5. After the bath bombs are molded, let them sit undisturbed for at least 6 hours before removing from molds.
