Hello,
I am very interested in pursuing a MAT in Special Education, I received my undergrad degree in a field other than teaching. I have a few questions regarding an LBS1 certificate, and would really appreciate your responses.
1) Can an LBS1 teacher teach any subject K-12? Do they generally teach one grade level or several in a class? Can they work at public school as well as special education co-ops?
2) What type of classroom would an LBS1 teacher teach in (e.g. co-classroom)?
3) What do you find most rewarding about being a special ed teacher and what made you decide to be a special educator?
Thanks again! :)
