This is for an action research project...DUE NEXT WEEK!!!
What prevents you as a teacher from utilizing graphic organizers in your classroom on a regular basis?
Do you know why graphic organizers are best practice?
Please be honest about the difficulty and time it takes in preparing and copying graphic organizers... Do you not use them more often because they do take more time to prepare and copy?
Is there anyone out there (besides me) who does not use graphic organizers becuase you are afraid you will run out of your allocated copy quota?
What would you say are the reasons why teachers SHOULD use graphic organizers more?
Do you find that students are able to organize their thoughts better when using graphic organizers?
Do you ONLY use the common organizers (like Venn Diagram, KWL chart, T-Chart)...or do you take the time to create organizers which apply to your lessons?
