My second grade students are participating in a unit called Travel Pals, where we mailed out beanie babies along with a travel pack and asked people all across the United States and some foreign countries to communicate back to our class and contribute to our Travel Pals scrapbook. Contributors were asked to send photographs of the beanie baby doing interesting things in their community, as well.
We are quickly running out of willing participants. My request to you is simple. Would you be interested in participating? You would need to share your name and mailing address, take digital photos (and either email them or print them out and mail them), complete a page in our scrapbook, and be willing to pay a nominal postage fee to mail the travel pack to the next destination.
