Does anyone here teach philosophy? (or has a friend who teaches it?) I'll be teaching it very soon and I need some resources to get me started. A course syllabus or just some ideas would be of great help.

I'm sorry. I don't teach philosophy... I wish I could be more help, but I kind of get all turned around with all that thinking!

I did take an awesome philosophy class on Ethics for Professionals. It was great and very applicable. We learned about things like Kant and the Golden Rule and all that.

Maybe let your students do a lot of debating and relation to thier lives? One of the neat things about this subject is that what you feel is right might not actually be right according to the theories. It's crazy in a cool way!!!
