I am from Ohio and have been looking for a teaching job for the past three years with no luck. I have been looking out of state the past 6-8 months or so to see what states are in desperate need of teaching jobs.
My husband happened upon a job in Oklahoma and things are looking pretty good. Before we decide to take the leap and move, is anyone familiar with Oklahoma schools? For instance, I know Ohio is very saturated with freshly graduated teachers looking for jobs but in the Carolinas and more of the southern states, teachers are desperately needed. I would appreciate any help that I can get. My husband and I want to make sure that a big move like this would benefit both of us in our careers. Thanks everyone!
