Hello,
My kids are making presents for their parents for the holidays. I started very early, because our vacation is earlier than most, the project takes a lot of time, and I wanted them done before the stress of the holidays.
I'd like to have the children with divorced or separated parents make a present for both parents, as I'd like to includes every parent, whether they are primary custodians or not.
I wanted send home a letter asking if this was something their family could benefit from. I don't know which kids parents are divorced; I teach kindergarten and can't get any good answers from the kids. I thought about having each child make two, but I don't know who does or doesn't have two parents to begin with.
Any suggestion on how to approach this, or how to word a letter to the parents?
