Hi everyone! I am currently working in the a child development center with the toddlers and preschoolers and trying to finish up my child development degree online. I am very busy and one of my assignments is to find a person who is a professor in my field. That is very tough to do since I am taking online classes and dont go to campus. So if there is anyone that is a professor at a college teaching child development courses and could help me out with some questions that would be fantastic. I also was just wondering what kind of magazines and journals people read to get ideas for your profession. I need to come up with a list of 5. If anyone could help me out that would be great!

Thanks
sarah

I subscribe to Young Children. It is a VERY good journal. Why? Well, lots of reasons exsit. However, one of the most compeling (sp?) is that NAEYC is the people behind it. NAEYC is like our big, powerful, and important organization in our field.

I'm sorry I'm not a professor. Is there any local colleges by you? You can look online at thier websites and get names/e-mails for the professors who teach EC. Look for who is head of the dept. and contact them asking to e-mail or meet with the people you found names for.

Good luck!
