Can I get some advice on if this? I will be a student teacher this fall and I was wondering if this is a good letter for me to send out to parents introducing myself.
Dear First Grade Families,
As the new school year gets underway I would like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Ms. _____ and I will be a student teacher in your son/daughters first grade classroom. This opportunity is the last step I will take before receiving my Bachelors Degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin and I’m very excited to be here at _________ Elementary. I will be in the classroom working with Mrs. __________ from the beginning of the school year through the middle of January. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the upcoming weeks. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime with any questions or concerns. You can contact my by phone at _________, or by email at _____________
I look forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,
Ms. ___________
