Request for a thematic project plan on atoms

Hello Everyone,
I teach Science to class eight and I need a thematic project plan on 'Atoms and Molecules'. Can anyone help me?

You could have the kids diagram atoms. You could also have the kids research and report on different molecules. You could have a molecule of the day during your unit. If you cover the history of the atom, you could ask the kids to write letters to one of the scientists you talk about describing their theory and what later scientist have found to show their theory was wrong.

Have the kids compare one atom in a human body to the solar system and the body to the entire universe with the assumption that electrons, neutrons and protrons are all alive and capable of debating the nature of the universe.
