I've nearly finished writing my class website. Now, I'm VERY new to all this tech stuff, and I've done my site in the simplest way I could figure -- HTML on notepad. It looks pretty good in firefox!

NOW, I want to upload it. Anyone know where and how, and how cheaply it can be done? I don't want ads running, as it's for very young primary kids, and the less clutter, the better.

Also, am I going to have to take it down every time I want to update it, then upload it again?

thanks for your input.

I use IX webhosting, and they are fabulous!
I signed up for a two year contract and it worked out to about $3.00 a month!

Their tech support is the best I've ever used. They can help you with uploads, domain registrations, everything you need.

That is good to know. I would like to start a website in the future.

Boxcar, I used this site to learn how to code. It's REALLY SIMPLE stuff, but enough to get a site that will work. I found it really easy to follow:

I use www.teacherweb.com. It's about $30 a year, and it's so worth it. You don't have to know html to create a site. Just enter the info you want and the program creates the page for you.

Thanks! I was going to take a coding class this summer, but the little ones used up all my time.

It will be nice not to be required to know all the tech. aspects.
