Those of you interested in autism might find this article interesting. A programmer in England has created a virtual reality somewhat reminiscent of the Sims as a way to battle autism through virtual interaction.
Members may adopt an avatar to graphically represent them as they walk through what appears to be a tropical beach resort. Safe in the privacy of their own homes, they may interact with other members in a way that goes beyond the limitations of current chatboards.
