Check out this video.
Many of you may have seen it. It insipres me and makes me realize what we do for a living is one of the most important jobs out there. The video is about 3 minutes long, and really worth it!

Presenting: Taylor Mali...one of my favorites!

Absolutely fantastic! Just what I needed to hear right now! Wish we could show that at faculty meetings! lol

I thought about that. I guess it's not appropriate, but I know most of our teachers would appreciate it!

Thanks for sharing. I've seen this particular video before. Meant to look into other ones by him; but, never got around to it. Perhaps I'll do that now that you have brought him back to my attention. :)

They're on youtube. The one about proofreading is funny, not as inspiring.
There is another about the way we speak...I think it's called "like ya know?" or something like that. I'll get the link.

Finally viewed some more of his videos. He is good. Truly liked, "Like Ya Know" and the one about responding to the dinner guest who asked him how much teachers made. The one about proofreading is not as funny as these; but, his "poetry" is pretty good stuff.

He is a great advocate for teachers, in my opinion.

I did google him, so I now have that page of listings bookmarked.
