Hi!

I'm a Portuguese/English teacher in Portugal. I live in Bragança, a small town in the northeast of Portugal and this school year I'm teaching in Sendim, a smaller town in the same district, but about 80km away from Bragança.
I teach teenagers, from 12 to 16 years old.
If there's anyone interested in exchanging mails or/and postcards and experiencies between students and teachers, please just let me know! I think it would be very interesting!;)

Let me ask my kids and team members. How many students do you have? Mine are around the age of 12 and 13, but I have one Social Studies class with about 25 students, and that would be an ideal assignment at least for that class.

I love how people in different countries can write to one another and connect, especially now that technology lets them find each other.

Hi!

I have 5 classes of about 16 students each. The younger are about 12 years old and the older are about 16.

Okay, I am going to ask my Social Studies class on Monday to see how many are willing. I can, at least, pull one class together and try to get more. Even if we can't get more kids involved, we can do it as a class project, and I can find a few more kids because I see my social studies kids again for science.

How would you like to do this? Are there certain questions you want answered? Surveys? Care packages? Let me know. I can find one of my students for each one of your students. Just give me an idea of what you want to do, and I will take it from there next week.

Thanks again for your interest! I think it coud be an exciting project! I'm going to ask my students, to see how many are interested.
I think first they shoud be interested in asking your students some questions, by e-mail, about some cultural things and school stuff... so, we could begin by exchanging e-mails... What's your opinion about this?

Hi, Ms.Rodman,

Thanks for your reply, but my students are a bit advanced, about 12 to 16 years old, so they'd like to correspond with other students of their age...

wordseater, I totally forgot to ask my kids! I am so sorry!!

However, I have a question...did you prefer email or snail mail? If email is your preference, I don't think I can help you because we only have one computer lab, and that is always tied up in testing. It is hard to schedule time in that lab.

If it is snail mail, that can be arranged.

I probably need to go in and clean up some of the old ones. Be sure to look at the "Date Submitted". The closer to the current date, the more likely you will get a response.

..and it should work just fine 'over the pond' :)

Hi, I'm from Bulgaria. I'm a teacher in a primary school. I'm looking for pen pals for my 1th graders (8 years old,26 students). Does anyone teach a class who would be interested? /mrs_teach@abv.bg/
