I'm working with a fourth grade class and they are just learning powerpoint. I had the idea to create electronic portfolios on powerpoint but I'm having a hard time coming up with a lot of ideas for them to include. Any suggestions?

When I was a 4th grade teacher, I had students do research on the culture and history of various native American tribes. Our computer teacher helped the students put together a portfolio that included:

* a title page
* a map showing the regional area that this tribe lived in
* a research report
* a sound byte of native American music
* a scanned drawing with caption
* a jpeg photograph with caption
* a poem
* a recipe
