I'm assuming you're talking about 2nd semester and not the 2008-09 school year. What am I looking forward to doing?
1) Having completed the school year, I will now have a full year's worth of lesson plans to review/revise for the 08-09 school year.
2) Having replaced a culinary arts instructor who is unanimously regarded as being a nasty shrew who was renown for her verbal abuse of students, I am looking forward to picking up additional students during 2nd semester. These students were culinary arts students last year but dropped the program because they hated their instructor. Having spent the past semester observing our new daily changing menu in operation, I will be picking up a few students for my advanced program.
3) I'm really looking forward to summer break. I haven't had a summer break in seven years. Not only will I use summer break to rest/relax but I'll use this to complete certification requirements i.e. I need to take a course on the Arizona state constitution and I need take a state examination for knowledge of secondary instruction.

Hey Mopar,
I am a certified Pharmacy Assistant and I do miss it; however, there are politics there as well....but I will see what my future holds. At least it is nice to have a back up if you need it :)

I am looking forward to getting married in June.
Having a good rest of the year with my students.
And hopefully finding a school a little closer to home to save on gas.

I am looking forward to getting married in June.
Congratulations!
As a chef instructor, I'm curious. Are you having the reception catered or is your family organizing a banquet?

We are just going to have a party. We will be getting married on a beach in Galveston, TX. It will be just us...so we will have a reception party when we return. A friend of ours will be catering for us.

What am I looking forward to:
1. Watching my cohort of new teachers develop their skills and confidence as effective and competent members of the teaching community.
2. Enhancing my own skills and abilities as a coach and as an educator.
3. Participating in summer institutes for teachers - my form of relaxing.
4. Enjoying the freedom to take mini-vacations without time constraints.
5. To find time to read the assortment of books that I have purchased during this year.
6. To find time to do some knitting and crocheting - I have plenty of yarn waiting.
7. Anticipating working with a new cohort of new teachers in the 2008 - 2009 school year.

1. The biggest thing I am looking forward to is reaching the end of my evaluation to be a continuing contract teacher. These last few years have been rough.
2. I am fixing to buy a house, so the looking has been fun.
3. Doing something with my summer whether it be teaching summer school or getting a few professional development credits or going to a conference.
4. Letters of intent and contracts come out soon, and I am looking forward to getting a contract and possibly making this school my home.
5. My family has a house on the beach, and I always look forward to spending as much time with my nieces and nephews as possible.
