I need help with a team name!

I teach 6th grade and each team has to come up with a team name. Any suggestions?:)

What is your last name? You could do something with alliteration using your last name (Example Thompson Tigers)

Something with colors:
Team Neon
Team ....

You could also do something that rhymns (Hogg's Frogs for example). Is this for field day? I never had field day as a kid, but it is a big deal around here.

Are the other teachers using their last names or could you just pick a sports name?

How large is the team? Is it possible for them to make suggestions and vote?

Our middle school has names such as Voyagers, Challengers, etc.

Does your whole school have a theme? Our school had a Survivor theme the past 2 years so our team names reflected that. One team used the beginning of each of their last names, another used the word for caring in another language. Ours was Timu which means team in swaheli.

This year our school theme is Movies so our team is the Adventurers. Others are Special Effects, Superheroes,and Superstars.

I like Rassi idea of using another language for a team name. Use something that has special meaning and google it in another language.
