View Full Version : Very Weird, Creepy Story...

As G-d is my witness, I swear the story I am about to tell you is true. I have two sources who can back me up on this one.

Last Friday, I had a dream that took my breath away. I dreamt I was in the hills of Ohio with my family and some friends when, all of the sudden, an earthquake split the ground wide open. Several of my friends where caught by a tidal wave of oozing, crackling, popping, sparking lava as I watched in horror and couldn't do anything to help. All I hoped was that my family got out of there alive. I woke up with a start, and the first thing I said to my husband was, "There's going to be an earthquake. It will happen within three days and there is lava involved."

Well, Saturday passed by, and no news (whew!). Sunday afternoon, I took my son's friend to the library and shared my dream with him. It was 1 pm EST on Sunday (yesterday) when I explained my dream.

Today, Monday, at 7 am EST, my son's friend calls our house and says, "Mrs. B, did you hear?" "Hear what?" "There's been an earthquake in Indonesia. Last night! Turn on the news!"

I go to CNN.com and immediately read: "Solomon Islands hit with tsunamis and earthquake...8.0 shocks with 6.7 after shocks....13 killed in resulting tsunami...."

Granted, you can pretty much guarantee that somewhere in the world an earthquake will occur within the next several days. BUT, here's where my dream and the reality aligns: exactly 3 days after I had the dream (how would I know this exact date?), there was an earthquake; the area that was hit was along the "RING OF FIRE" -- which was shown to me in my dream as the lava flow that was crackling and popping!

This has happened to me before. I predicted the Mexican earthquake back in 94 (??) and I've also predicted plane crashes and buildings exploding. Each time, the event happened within three days from the day I dreamt it would happen.

There's this feeling I get when I have these dreams that tells me it is really going to happen. I wake up with this tightening in my chest and a feeling of impending danger, as if someone just shot me with a mega dose of adrenaline.

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? What happened? Share your story!

Wow, that's scary, but you have a special sense that you know how to tap into. My dreams don't often predict things...but I have other type of dreams.

My dreams are of places. The people and happenings in these dreams are not important. I dream of places I have never been to, but I know everything about these places. These dream places have recurred my whole life. Sometimes, when I am especially calm (and awake) I have a very stong overwhelming "sense" of one of my dream places.

The places are varied, from a French or French Canadian street to a midwestern college town, etc.

Does anyone else have these recurring dream places?

I'm thinking that this thread should probably be in "This & That" forum. Hmmmmmm

Wow, very interesting dream!! My dreams never predict anything, they are usually of something silly that I never fully remember when I wake up.

my dreams have never predicted anything. They usually just represent my fears or stressers in life.

I am from Asia. Some religion explain that dreams reflect past life activities. Anyway, I just listen to such dreams but do not take them seriously, whether it is funny or scary.

Dreams can be so strange. I wish I could remember more of my dreams when I wake up. But is sounds like you have something quite different from the norm.

I have two odd experiences to share.

I once had an Aunt who was closer to me than my own mother. I spent weekends, holidays, and summers with her while pursuing my first college degree. After moving away, I called her every Saturday.

One morning while at work, I had the strangest feeling that something was wrong. The thought bothered me throughout the school day. I wound up calling her mid-week instead of waiting for Saturday and found that my Uncle had had a stroke earlier that morning.

On another occasion I had the strangest dream of being in a plane, looking out the window, and seeing nothing but endless sand dunes stretching away from the landscape below me.

One year after having this dream, I found myself actually sitting in a plane, looking out the window, and seeing endless sand dunes sweeping below me. I was on a KLM flight on landing approach to Al-Khobar in Saudi Arabia. The strangest feeling of deja vu came over me until I remembered my dream of a year before.

The funny thing is that one year before, I hadn't even applied for a job with the Saudi Aramco Oil Company. I hadn't given any thoughts to seeking employment in the Middle East ...

Very interesting.

My mother was sensitive to many of her dreams. She never talked about them, but when something happened, you got the idea that she already knew that it was going to happen. In my late teens and early twenty's she began sharing her dreams with me. I was able to discuss past experiences with her and ask her had she had dreams about them. She said that she had. She told me that her mother had these kinds of dreams, also. Well, I don't have them - thank goodness! In fact, I seldom remember having had a dream of any kind when I wake up.

I can remember having a few dreams over the years; some silly and a few rather scary. However, just looked at them as dreams - nothing more.
