Hi,
I am new to Preschool teaching. Today I went to one preschool teacher interview and they satisfied with me. But before I join they asked me to try in
their class room. What is this trying ? I didn't get them. They explained me something but I didn't. It is not like new teacher orientation. Any body has
an idea about this trying in class room ? Please advise me what to do ?
Thanx.

Perhaps they want to see you demonstrate your teaching style in the classroom by teaching a few lessons? Seeing how you interact with the students can give them a feel for how you will perform.
Many schools require teacher candidates to teach a lesson in a class. They will have people observe you. Sometimes the observers include the director of the preschool, another teacher, and often parents. They will observe your teaching style, your ability to interact with the children, your demeanor, your use of reinforcement & praise, your class management skills, your speaking/communication abilities, and many other things.
Just be yourself and teach the way you are comfortable teaching. Be sure to "connect" with the children and engage them to keep their attention. Different preschools are looking for different types of teaching. You have to find the school that "fits" your style.
Qwert,
By any chance, do you communicate using ASL (or another language)? You write as if you do.

Do you have a method for managing student behavior? A good system of class management won't be visible in just one setting, but if you have some little short-term tricks, like teaching students your expectations, modelling appropriate behavior, etc, the staff will be much more likely to hire you.
