My feet are killing me. Anyone know any good shoes that are at least somewhat cute? I have heard of Clarks. Any suggestions?

Mine are usally off :)
I need to just invest in some good slippers to put on while in my room then put my nice shoes back on when I leave my room!

I have several pair of Clarks and can't say enough positive things about them. (Look on eBay for a couple of stores that you can buy multiple pairs for cheaper.) My feet NEVER hurt after wearing them all day long. I love the mules that they have. I also have a pair of shoes made by Relativity that are awesome!! There are days when I want to and do wear a pair of slippers... but I find that my feet crave the support after walking around on the carpetted concrete all day long.

Are these shoes still kind of stylish? I'm a young teacher and still want to look "hip" haha

Bass shoes are VERY comfortable, I have a pair of Crocs in my room that I put on when they start to hurt, and I keep a pir of flip-flops in my room for emergencies. Born shoes are also very comfortable.

My feet pretty much always hurt, so I keep a pair of "nice" black slippers in my desk drawer.

I don't like Crocs at all. I bought a pair--black clogs without the holes--and my ankles kill me in them. They also make my feet hot . . . but everyone else seems to love them. Go figure!

Personally, I'm a Birkenstock fan. They have more than just the sandals. Born are not bad either, and I have some Clarks that don't look too frumpy.

Forget cute. If more people ignored cuteness when it comes to footwear, there would be far less need for podiatrists.

Before I became a restaurant manager, I didn't think anyone stayed on their feet more than teachers. I was wrong. As a former restaurant manager, I stood (no pun intended) a standard 10 hour shift and often worked as much as 17 hours without any breaks.

When you're on your feet that long, you NEED decent footwear.

I spent $250 on comfortable shoes with built in arch support.

My best suggestion is for you to avoid discount shoe places. Good shoes aren't cheap ... but if they keep your feet from aching at the end of a long day, they're more than worth the expense.

P.S. I wear shoes made by Red Wing. They're not cute, but they're comfortable and functional.

I have a pair of Dr. Martins that are pretty comfortable. New Balance Cross Trainers, Puma Basket, Pedwin. I think it's important to rotate daily. I also keep a pair of comfortable sandals in the file cabnit for after school.
