Hello. I'm new here. I'm trying to contact Keren in Tel Aviv to set up pen pals with my class in Ohio. I've been unable to establish contact with her since my school email here blocks the link (her email link....if that makes sense).
Any ideas?

You should be able to contact your IT department with the school to allow emailings from her and her school. Just let them know what you are trying to setup. JMTC's ;)

Thank you. Someone emailed me and gave me the teacher's email address. I sent out an email just a bit ago to Tel Aviv (requesting pen pals for my 7th graders). Hopefully, I'll hear back from her.

Keep us up to date as these projects are usually very beneficial to students and can form lasting impressions between two different cultures

I can't figure out how to select a class to be penpals with my third grade class. Every time I click on the contact person's name, my computer makes a "ding" sound. When I click on the school name, it shows the map and says still available, but it doesn't show how to connect with the person from there. Can anyone help me with this? I'm new to this site and obviously don't know what I'm doing. :O)

Yes, I can help. Our program uses code that is supposed to "open an email" addressed to the person you are interested in. Some internet browsers do not understand this code, so it will not appear to work.
What I suggest is to find a class you want to exchange with, and on the contact link, just mouse over it and in the lower left corner of your browser you will see the email address. Just remove the "mailto:" code from the beginning of the code you see.
For example, you will see something like:
mailto:jhenderson@msn.com
The email to contact that person is: jhenderson@msn.com (this is just an example)
Please let me know if you need further help.
