Thank you! My temp is gone, knock on woods. I went to church and breakfast this morning, so the rest of my day is on the couch. My mug was back in my hands this morning to hold the hot coffee which goes down the throat easily. :D

Jello is better than milkshakes... milkshakes are tasty at the time, but anything milk-based tends to create phlegm which causes coughing which can make a sore throat feel worse.

Silvana, I will try to make my posts meaningful. But the brain gets tired when it is not being energized by caffeine. The morning and evening drive to school are long and I get so thirsty. So, I will try to be good, and not post meaningless diatribes. Wish I could be as funny as Bananas and boxcar

Yes you can't move much without bumping into something roman or anglo saxon...the town I live in is a castle town and has the castle ....the town I work in also has a very old town hall ....I love America but not quite as much as Italy there you really meet art and history and neat clothes too!

Yes you can't move much without bumping into something roman or anglo saxon...the town I live in is a castle town and has the castle ....the town I work in also has a very old town hall ....I love America but not quite as much as Italy there you really meet art and history and neat clothes too!

We tried to get to a castle, but it was March and the castle was closed. Rats. Maybe someday.

Though this promotion has brought in new members, it has also brought in a good amount of spam - that is people who just post in an effort to raise post count, so they just answer 20 posts at a time with "Yeah cool" or "I agree", and really offer nothing to these boards. Most of these people are out of the country, so they don't qualify anyhow - but tell them (quietly) to re-read the rules, and they leave.

I think that if I continue giveaways, they will be more of a random giveaway to REAL contributors to this board - that is, ones that are not revealed to the community.

Let me introduce myself; my name is Laurie and I want one of the 2 coffee mugs that are left. I am a Professional Childcare Provider, I've been providing care in my home since 1995. I've helped raise many of kids. My husband and I recenclty became empty nesters, not sure if I would like it however I'm lovin' it. We have 2 adult daughters we are the best of friends and also life together. We have a mix black lab named Lexi and 2 kitty-cats Penenlope and Bruce. We live on the Olympic Peninsula in WA. State. A few things about myself, I'm an aunt & a great aunt to many nieces and nephews. I'm also a 2nd mom to a few others whom I love like they are my own children. I love to go camping in our RV, campfires, sandy beaches, roasting marshmellows, hiking, reading James Patterson books, Facebook and mySpace is where I spend some of my spare time keeping up with my daughters, sisters, nieces, nephews and a few close friends.
I'm looking forward to being a member on this site, to meet others whom have chosen the same carreer as myself, getting new ideas, lessons, and themes to teach my little ones, and sharing a few things with you.
