Do you use online tests at work?

I'm wondering if any of you use online tests at work. Do you prefer using paper/pen to test students instead?
Did you try to use any online testing systems, like TeamTesting or so? I see more teachers start using IT for such needs more frequently.

I used to use funbrain.com for some tests before I had to pay for the service. It was great if it was a multiple choice type test. If students had to type in words, there was always an error if the spelling was not 100% correct. I liked using those tests to check basic comprehension and/or math facts. At the end of the day, I would get an email notification of the scores... slick!! Now, I do most of it paper-pencil again because our curriculum and progress reporting is based on standards rather than percentage grades.

I agree, most IT services won't help if you have strict standards. If standards are not the case, then online products can greatly simplify the testing process.
