This may sound stupid but remember that i am in high school but when its time to do your student teaching will you be expected to do it on your own like volunteer work or is this like something the university sets up. Also what exactly do you do while doing student teaching

While working on your degree, your college will hopefully be putting you into many different practicums in which you will be learning. Your student teaching experience will be set-up by your college or university. During that time, it is strongly suggested by most universities that you do not work during this time period (even though you will be paying for your semester tuition).
