on line courses?

What do you think about on-line courses? Does your school system offer them? If you do have on-line classes, how do the scores differ from "normal" classes?

I have taken a couple of on-line courses while teaching full-time. I took them through the University of Northern Iowa. Both were excellent! I did not take the courses as a part of my master's coursework but rather to increase my knowledge in a couple of different areas. I would never (personally) suggest that someone obtain their entire degree online as I think the face-to-face interaction is absolutely necessary. As far as scoring, I received a letter grade for both classes.
