Cable’s Leaders in Learning Awards honors educators, administrators, community leaders, policymakers whose innovative practices or policies have made a major contribution to the education of children and youth - in and out of the classroom.
Winners receive $3,000 plus a trip to DC to attend a prestigious awards gala in June 2006 with members of Congress, national education leaders and celebrities.
Cable in the Classroom, the cable industry's education foundation, and cable industry partner companies, created the awards program. A panel of judges from the national education community selects the winners.
