Honeywell Space Academy Scholarships Available For Teachers
Honeywell is accepting scholarship applications from middle school science and math teachers to attend the 2006 Honeywell Educators at Space Academy program at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Honeywell Educators at Space Academy program is an educator training curriculum focusing on space science and space exploration. During the program, teachers will learn new and innovative teaching techniques and participate in astronaut-style training exercises including a high-performance jet simulation, scenario-based space missions, land and water survival training, and a state-of-the-art flight dynamics programs.
Each Honeywell Scholarship includes full tuition for the entire five-day program, roundtrip airfare, meals, accommodations and program materials. Nearly 150 teachers from 17 countries and 32 U.S. states attended the 2005 Honeywell Educators at Space Academy program. They are now back in the classroom inspiring thousands of students to pursue careers in science, math, engineering and technology.
