I want to let you know about these Michigan Trading Cards
that a neighbor of ours produced. A lover of our state, he
researched historical events and places of interest and
beauty in Michigan. He did it as a kind of hobby and has
the cards for sale at tourist type shops in Mackinaw City,
The Henry Ford, Frankenmuth, etc. As I work as a
substitute teacher, I suggested to him that teachers might
love to use them as a motivating, non-textbook teaching
tool for their students. He decided to charge only a
dollar a pack for Michigan teachers rather than the $3.95
they cost in stores or online. Last school year I sold
almost 500 packs to teachers, mostly in Royal Oak where I
sub. I also made a list of ideas for teachers to do with
students using the cards. If you would like more info., or
