TeachersCount is excited to announce an open call for submissions for our upcoming “Teacher Essay of the Month” feature. Essays, articles, and memoirs of any length will be considered, and the competition is open to all, as long as teaching features prominently in the piece. Entries may be didactic, anecdotal, editorial, or any combination thereof as long as the piece is of interest to teachers. Submissions are read on a rolling basis, and simultaneous submissions will be considered as long as TeachersCount is immediately notified if an entry is accepted elsewhere.

Winning writers will see their work published on TeachersCount.org and will receive mention in the monthly newsletter. Please send submissions as an attached Microsoft Word document to lauren@teacherscount.org. Entries may also be mailed to
