Hi there! I don't know how many of you have heard of this organization, but the National Association for Beginning Teachers is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting new teachers! Right now you can register to become a member for Free. They are requesting donations, but you can give any amount that you feel you can afford - $1, $5, $10, or their usual member fee of $35. This is way cheaper than the other Teacher Associatons!
The donations will be used to help provide resources, networking, conferences, etc. for beginning teachers. It is kind of like what President Bush did for the children of Afghanistan. If every teacher gave at least $1 or more, think about how much we could do to help new teachers! http://www.lessonplansearch.net/ubb/smile.gif
