Let's see, how to make this brief... I have an MA in Mexican History and I am living in
Mexico teaching English to 5th graders. Tuesday was Gandhi's birthday and Monday is Columbus Day and I wanted to juxtapose the lives and activities of the two men, as well
as their motivations for doing what they did. Additionally, I want to discuss the whole notion of "discovery" and why it is that Columbus is credited with "discovering" land which had belinged to millions of people for centuries...
I was wondering if anyone might know of web sites or other resources on line...
Any help (or comments) would be greatly appreciated!!
