Group ideas

Hi. I am a high school teacher. This is my first year teaching the school to work program. I would like to incorporate some group work. Does anyone have any ideas?

I do a great deal of group work with my students. My classroom is set up in groups of three. I teach seniors and freshman. I have them build class rules together. They rewrite fairytales/Grimm's style together. I have them work on themes that can be found in Macbeth together. (They have to cut magazine/neswpaper articles that relate to the themes that can be found in Macbeth, ten words that relate to the themes, and pictures that relate to the themes. Once they have all of these cut they are given a posterboard. The posterboard must be cut into a symbol that can be found in Macbeth. They work in groups of three, and must present their findings after they have completed the assignment).
