This post is for my daughter. We are looking online to gather information about her becoming a elem. teacher k-6. What ( in plan english please ) does the word praxis mean, in reference to becoming a teacher?
Thank You

Hi I am in the second year of AS elementary teaching degree. The praxis is a test which contants basic things like math reading and etc. I have heard it was very hard. It is also costly here in Tennessee. I will be taking it next summer or later. I found a web site were you can pay to take a practice test and can do it for a month or longer that may help. I am looking into it. Here it is

it's under Professional Exams. I hope this will her your daughter. Good luck to her!
You could type in "Praxis" in keyword or go to Google.com or other search engines which may give more help on this too. Good Luck!
Debra
