I am doing a western theme with my 1st grade class this year. I need a catchy phrase.
Any ideas????

Some ideas.....A cute welcome sign would be to use some pictures of cattle and "Have you HERD.... It's time for school!" (Or something equally cheesy). Have a reading center titled Reading Roundup. A Bull. Board "Roping up Good Grades" (have a cowboy with a big lasso twirling and have examples of students work). Use some cows and have a Bull. Board title "Moo-ving into 1st Grade". You could have an incentive chart with a rattlesnake. When you catch good behavior, you could add a rattle. When they get to 10 rattles, some sort of reward. Hope this helps. K
