2nd Grade Project

This is my first year teaching 2nd grade. I have taught 1st grade for eight years. In the past I have done projects such as pen pals, postcard exchange and Flat Stanley. I am looking for something different to do with them this year since many of them will be my same students from last year.

This year in my second grade class for social studies we will be sending out our class mascot and state symbol along with facts about CA on a journey to other 2nd grade classes. We would like to get to as many states as possible before the end of the school year. If you would like to participate and be on our list please email me the following information:
