Dear Teachers,
Researchers at the University of Oregon invite you to participate in some important research about teachers and the children they teach. Because school teachers often see children more hours each day then any other adult in the children’s lives, we would like your help to better understand the roles that teachers play in children’s lives. The focus of this study is to learn about teachers’ experiences with children. We’d also like to hear about your training and level of preparedness to deal with challenges in today’s classroom. For example, do you find yourself in the position of having to diagnose problems such as ADHD? What type of support do you receive from your school?
Our hope is that this study can be disseminated to help obtain additional resources for teachers.
If you are interested in helping us with this study please visit our website at:
http://dynamic.uoregon.edu/tws/
Your participation is completely voluntary and confidential.
When you visit the website you may also sign up to be on our mailing list to get survey results when they are ready.
Thanks for your interest,
Sincerely,
Lisa DeMarni Cromer, M.S.
Jennifer Freyd, Ph.D.
