Great Lakes Region help

Hi I am a methods student and I am wrapping up a liesson on the Great Lakes Region. I have a lesson planned, but no time to finish it. I was wondering if anyone could help me with an idea to help teach the students about natural resources, manufactured goods and agricultural goods. Also I need a good assessment tool for the whole unit. My originsl plsn is not going to work anymore.

why don't you bring in some items that are and are not natual resources. line them up on a table. then if you have a computer, make a worksheet that lists the items. have your students write why thyat item is or is not a natural resource. then have some kids present them.
