I've been looking for software that will fit a list of words into a crossword grid for me. Does anyone know of such a thing?

Yes. Try "Toolbox" at www.discoveryeducationalsoftware.com (http://www.discoveryeducationalsoftware.com) It's free to download and use for 15 days. Also makes up various other types of puzzle.

Discovery has a site for puzzlemaker. You type in your list of words, etc.; puzzlemaker makes up the puzzles from your data and you print the puzzle off on your printer. It was free the last time I used it.
You can go to http://www.puzzlemaker.com
At this site you will find a variety of puzzles that you can create for FREE!

i boufht a little cd from ebay. it works but im too impatient to do what is needed to fit all the word clues into the picture because what shows on my screen is not what is printed out. ive resorted to other means for puzzles in 98 cent stores and prefer to have students make their own *they are hi schoolers. If you'd like to try the one i bought ill mail it to you . send address for mailing. it isnt perfect but it requires time i just dont have but the art is good. however, i prefer to have students do their own because we have 3 hour classes and they have more in class time to use up than i have down time to fuss with computer outside of school. email or phone 707-649-0656 peachee199@aol.com
