toxic parents and teacher bashing

I am frequently asked to speak to groups of teachers about morale issues. Lately I have noticed that dealing with toxic parents and teacher bashing have been included in the list of topic requests. I need to know how widespread the problem of coping with toxic parents and teacher bashing is. Can you help me by giving your opinion on the issue? Thanks Mike Moore

If your definition of Toxic parents and teacher bashing is the gossip that is started about the school, school personnel, teachers and other parents, then I would say that it is wide spread. I work as a substitute teacher and at every school, I hear things about the parents from the teachers and about the teachers from the parents. I also hear a lot of rumor and gossip from the students. This is an issue that seems to be swept under the rug and ignored. So what can be done about it?
